The Door has Just been Opened to the Flats and Bays of Florida.

Finally…..Just What We Have Been Waiting For.  Our New Shearwater X2200.  The shearwater X2200 is the latest exciting chapter in the American Marine Revolution in bay design concept.  The X2200 was designed specifically for fishermen caught in the middle who want the unlimited fish-ability of a Flats boat upper deck, but also need the  practical versatility of a bay boat large open cockpit.

Our Shearwater comes with a T-Top and Crow’s Nest for spotting  fish in the flats and bays of Florida.

Up on the front deck is Robert Brown the General Manager with Boats. Net  who are situated here in Lake Placid. 

The Deluxe console comes fully loaded with the latest technology.

At last I have my own Nest which allows me  to view 360 degrees to spot those elusive fish.

The boat comes fitted  with a Hydraulic jack-plate and recessed trim tabs. The over all length of the boat is 22ft, with a beam width of 8ft 2″ inches and finally a draft of 12″.  We have a Mercury 300 HP  Verado  four stroke  engine  fitted to our Shearwater.      

Our Shearwater has opened the door for us  to fish the flats and bays of Florida this coming October when we return to the Fishing Capital of the World.
