On the Hook with Jesse Gallegos

On the Hook with Jesse Gallegos

It was a up and down two days with Jesse Gallegos due to the cold front caused by the  disturbance of  Hurricane Sandy.  We spent the first morning out on Lake Istokpoga surrounded by some of  America’s Top Bass Professionals including film and sound crews with an helicopter  hovering over our  heads. They were producing a new documentary on bass fishing on Lake Istokpoga which can be viewed next April .  We spent the morning fishing along the north side of the lake and caught several small bass and we missed one awesome bass just as we were about to leave.  We both enjoyed the mornings fishing and the banter between myself and Jesse.  I first meet Jesse back when I purchased my new Triton Bass boat from Lake Placid Marine were he was the Sales Manager.  We have remained in contact and become good friends since I first took delivery of my boat.   We spent our second day out on Lake Clay where  we had an awesome time landing a small army of small Bass, although we had no big takers due to the cold morning.  Again we both had a great morning fishing in the bright Florida sunshine but the temperature stayed low and the “Big Fish” stayed deep.
