Brian Whyte in St Mullins

I had several options to target this month, and after a  great deal of thought narrowed the list down to spending a few days fishing with my good  friend Brian Whyte.  I fish with Brian several times a year and we decided to head for St Mullins.  We arrived at around 6 .30 am on a overcast morning.  Several  local lads were already set-up in the area we intended to fish. Some of the lads I had met the day before and they shared their knowledge and advise. It was not  long before we landed our first  shad.  After a few hours fishing it was time to fire up the chuck wagon and have our breaskfast.  The morning cleared up and we had several more hours of good fishing.
